  • There is nothing better to start off a day like doing stupid shit. And my contribution was getting a good night of non-sleep. Seriously. I was up for 27 hours. and then I decided to take a nap before playing some ultimate and ended up sleeping for 6 hours, lol. Ahhh, the joys of college life :P

    Oh another note, just found out that Madeleine L'Engle died. She wrote "A Wrinkle in Time" and if you've never read that book.... well, you just need to go read it. It is AMAZING. And so were her two other sequels after that.

  • I'm having a good day today :) Not great or excellent but good. lol, going for the petty road, and am holding a grudge against the fact that I didn't start the day out the way I wanted to. But the ITOM teacher was pretty funny.. and old.. but still a hoot. And Stone is god. He reminds me of Bunton. He'd go all soft-spoken and then suddenly boom out in this huge voice. And he's very flow-y when he talks- like.. stream of consciousness. But it's going to be an interesting class. Papers will probably rape, but the material sounds interesting nevertheless.

  • oh right, I saw High School Musical 2.. and damn, I can't wait to see a High school musical without it being screwed up. HSM 1 was a pop-up and HSM 2 was a sing-a-long *cries*

    Anyway, phsyics.. hmm.. is interesting. I have a lot of friends in that class, w00t, but our teacher is British. And that itself reminds me of Milburn. Today's class wasn't too bad and it looked easy. And then I read Ch. 2, and it was motion and crap like that. with Velocity. and acceleration.. and crap that Milburn screwed me over on. Gahhh, physics

    haha, lunch today was funny. Our noodle line had Shrimp Chow Mein. Busting out the big guns to impress the fish here. HAHAHAHA, funny.

    ok, I'll stop being lame now :P

  • lots of random thoughts in I'm in a hurry.

    Hmm.. it's amazing how sheltered one's life can be.. and it's amazing how transparent a person can be, even when they think they are being discrete

    House Season 3 is out on DVD!! w00t!

    Finally moved back into SMU. I've forgotten how out of place I feel. I walk in to meet my roommate. I'm wearing my kf outfit (wushu pants and white shirt), and she's wearing a beautiful dress.. ok no problem. But then I meet my neighbors next door who we are sharing the study room and bath room with.. and all three are skinny and wearing beautiful dresses while I'm here looking like a slob... Fuck. Don't get me wrong- I like them and they are nice.. but still.. I just don't dress flashily while most of SMU does

    And War is coming out.. the movie with Jason Stathan (haha, his name rhymes) and Jet Li. And as a Jet Li fan, I must go and support him and watch his movie.. even if it looks like it sucks balls. But.. there better be a magical twist and have Jet Li be a good guy because there is no way in fuck that Jet Li is going to be fucking beaten by a white man.

    And I managed to get wireless internet all by myself.. yay for the technologically incompetent.

    so my  mom comes home today, lol, and I feel like I'm busting out the big guns. I made fried rice yesterday and pot stickers today.. after about a week of frozen dinners and easy to make noodles. Haha.. but something's off about the pot stickers.. maybe not enough salt.. hmmm...

  • nooo, haven't written in a while.. going to change layout soon.. sometime.. It'll be House since season 3 is coming out on DVD the 21st!

    ok, so i decided to quickly redo the layout.. if i don't do it now, then I'll never do it :P And the header above is one of my favorite quotes from House. The really interesting thing is that someone made that quote into an icon (like one the lj ones) and that was the first time that I saw the quote. I thought it was awesome and clever and that's about it. It wasn't until I was watching the first season of house on DVD that I realized that it was actually a house quote!

    Anyway, this is something that I've been thinking about.. avril lavigne.. she's canadian, which means there's probably some french in her. But Avril.. did you know that means April in French? So her name in English would be April.. How weird is that? Ok, that's not really weird.. but I've often thought that her name was partially why she's so famous.. or at least partially the reason at the very beginning. Punk rocker chick with a totally unique name of Avril.. how fucking awesome is that? But punk rocker chick named april? Not fucking awesome at all.. in fact, it goes to the other direction of bad and lame. Haha, yeah, and that's the whole point of this random comment. That's what I've been wasting my brain cells on :P

    Hey, Rei, i know you start school in about a week, so give me a holler on when you are moving in! Probably already moved in huh? Anyway, tell me where you're at, so I can drop by! And give you your b-day present :) Haha, funny thing, my friends told me today that there is a picture of us at Golden Chick! How awesome is that? We'll have to go by one day to see it in it's beautiful glory.

  • kya~ I haven't written in such a long time!!! Tai-Chi Legacy went well. We kicked ass :)

    Fruits Basket finally ended as I found out today... nice happy ending, but damn, it will forever remain fucked up in my mind- ESPECIALLY what the mangaka pulled out on us in Volume 18 or so

    And I've been mad skimming through Nana, which is FUCKING AWESOME.
